TERRA Engineering Ltd. (TERRA) collaborated with the City of Elmwood to design streetscape improvements for six primary streets located within the downtown business district. The entirely new streetscape is part of Elmwood’s continued redevelopment following tornado devastation in 2010. The downtown beautification improvements provide more efficient, comfortable and attractive transportation routes for pedestrians. The project improved pedestrian safety and mobility for visitors and shoppers while increasing the attractiveness of both local streets and state routes running through Elmwood’s downtown.

Raised landscape planters
Paver sidewalks and ramps designed to meet current accessibility standards
